COMPANY HISTORY

Ryan Engineering Inc. was founded in San Francisco in 1985 by Mr. Frank Kenny (President) and Mr. Martin Ryan (Vice President, CFO and San Francisco native).
During its early years the company's primary focus was towards the residential sector, performing demolition and excavation on a variety of projects from upscale single occupancy residential to multi family projects.
With the collapse of the residential construction market in the late 1980's, Ryan Engineering looked to the commercial and public works sector for opportunities. By offering excellent service at a reasonable price, the company was able to weather the recession prone early 1990's and continue its steady growth.

The early 1990's to the present has been an explosion of opportunity with the expansion of BART, San Francisco International Airport, commercial construction, large residential projects and sports facilities. Ryan Engineering Inc. has been able to capitalize on these opportunities with alliances and client relationships built over the years. From its humble beginnings the company has grown both in size and stature and today employs 16 staff and 65 field personnel.

Ryan Engineering Inc. was founded based upon a very simple principle:
